Having had the honor and pleasure of attending my dear friends Dina & Ray's wedding in Cabo, Mexico- I will now try to get myself invited to every destination wedding I find. Plus, it also gives me the perfect excuse to take some time off!! (Although I know I will be asked to do makeup!)
Once I took part in this small elegant event, I thought, 'Why would anyone want to get married any other way?'Most traditional weddings last a day- a destination wedding can last 3, 5 or even 7 days!! The wedding tends to be smaller but at least you know those who attend REALLY want to be there! Costs probably run about the same but in the end the memories last longer for the bride, groom and ALL THE GUESTS! After years of being involved with MANY weddings and brides, I would definitely encourage looking into the options of a destination wedding...
